Amigos Animal Rescue - Latest update
We’re so excited to share a big moment for Amigos Animal Rescue.
After a lot of behind-the-scenes work, love, and persistence, we’ve officially received our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. This step means everything. It allows us to grow, fundraise, and help animals in a more sustainable, transparent way. It’s a foundation we’ve been building toward for a long time, and it finally has roots.
At the same time, we’re proud to announce the opening of 7 Patas, a brand-new shelter created in partnership with Amigos Animal Rescue. What began as a dream is already full of life. 7 Patas is now home to many dogs who needed safety, care, and a second chance. Some arrived scared, some injured, some simply forgotten. All of them are now seen.
This shelter represents more than walls and kennels. It’s a place of healing, patience, and possibility. A place where dogs can decompress, receive medical care, and begin the journey toward finding loving homes.
We’re just getting started, but the impact is already real. None of this would be possible without the support of our community, our volunteers, and everyone who believes animals deserve kindness and protection.

Our Vision
Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for animals in Central America through accessible spay and neuter clinics, responsible pet ownership education, and fostering a culture of compassion and respect.
We envision a community where every animal receives the care and attention it deserves, leading to healthier and happier lives for both the animals and the people.
What we do
In partnership with 7 Patas, we provide spay and neuter services, medical care, and ongoing support for animals in need. We work to find loving homes for rescued dogs while also helping with safe rehoming whenever possible, always keeping each animal’s well-being at the center of everything we do. 🐾
7 Patas
7 Patas is a newly opened shelter created to give dogs in need a safe place to land, heal, and begin again. It’s already home to many dogs who are now getting the care, patience, and love they deserve. 🐾🤍
