Amigos Animal Rescue - Latest update
We have amazing news!! In July of 2025 Amigos Animal Rescue christened the new animal shelter - Siete Patas!! The event consisted of spaying and neutering 65 dog and cats and this is only the beginning! This shelter will house and care for street animals, hold more clinics and events, as well as be a place to get medicine and preventative care. We cannot thank you all enough for your support, both financially as well as morally. We couldn't be providing these basic and essential services without you.

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for animals in Central America through accessible spay and neuter clinics, responsible pet ownership education, and fostering a culture of compassion and respect.
We envision a community where every animal receives the care and attention it deserves leading to healthier and happier lives for both the animals and the people.
Spay and neuter clinics
Many pet owners don’t have the means to get their pets spayed or neutered. The result can be too many babies and much harder lives. Once a year, we host a free spay and neuter clinic which provides the surgery as well as after care.
Community Outreach
Visiting local schools with members of their community to educate children and young adults on how to treat animals with love and care.
Grants for Animals in Need
Our goal is to be able to provide basic healthcare to the animals of this area. We would like to offer vaccines and treatments for common illnesses.
